Oracle Generative AI
The next big thing in your work apps…is less work.
Introducing Oracle’s new Generative AI integration across Oracle cloud applications. In March of 2023, I began working with the HCM team on Oracle’s early Generative AI proof-of-concept MVPs for 2 in-app experiences in our Human Capital Management apps. Soon after, I was spearheading our entire design strategy and initial UX patterns and components for all app teams to adopt, in addition to designing 8 additional HCM apps and use cases. This evolved into the adoptable playbook for all product and engineering teams wishing to build Generative AI into their apps in a consistent Redwood way.
GenAI Playbook & 1st-generation UX Patterns.
While designing some early proof-of-concepts of generative AI built into our existing products and flows, I spearheaded a small team to develop a strategy and set of patterns that all teams could adopt for a consistent Redwood experience.
Crafting better reports, with ease.
The Enterprise Performance Management team adopted our GenAI playbook to create several new experiences for finance customers.
Creating a new job posting.
One of the earliest products to launch last year taking full advantage of the Oracle GenAI playbook was the Human Capital Management team to reinvent how job reqs could be written and posted in seconds, not hours using the data and context Oracle products are known for.
Write performance reviews.
The second HR app experience leveraging the GenAI playbook helps managers sift through all of the notes, 360-feedback and ratings throughout the year to write better informed and personalized performance reviews in minutes, not hours or days.
Project planning for finance and accounting.
Project management and accounting teams can now benefit from the context and data around their projects and create accurate plans in seconds.
